I've believed that since I was a teenager standing in the wings of a theatre. Theatre draws on so many disciplines — sound, stagecraft, performance — but I was always drawn to light. The way it builds mood, directs attention, changes narrative. I still am now, whether I'm on a mountain in Norway, shooting a wedding, or on a street in Chengdu.

I'm Lloyd — a photographer, filmmaker, and creative director based in Frome, Somerset, around 30 minutes from Bath. Originally from Wales, I work across the UK and internationally, specialising in lifestyle, hospitality, outdoors, automotive, and travel visuals that tell your story.

That foundation in theatre lighting design shapes everything I make. My visual language is cinematic — rooted in human connection. The belief that light isn't just a technical consideration, it's the starting point for every story. It's a discipline I still work in occasionally, and one that quietly underpins every brief I take on.
